Lesson/Topic of the Day Introduction

Activity # 1 - typically a hike/outdoor lesson

Noon hour Lunch followed by Individual Quiet Time

1:00 pm Free play- stations or group game (explorer choice)

1:30 pm Activity # 2 - typically art project/craft/science experiment

2:30 pm Clean-up/Snack/ Lesson wrap-up

3:00 pm Dismissal for CAMP ONLY

After- care open pick - up and activities begin

Weekly visitors in the mornings from different environmental/ecological agencies and animal ambassadors.

Weekly visit to the library, playground, the pool and daily trips to Brooklyn Memorial Park and trails.

Explorers walk to all programming and do not use transportation.

All field trips are on properties adjacent to our campus and are a short walking distance.

Explorers bring their lunches daily and we suggest a morning snack for those arriving early. All food brought on campus must be on the healthy end of the spectrum and the only beverage we consume daily is pure water. Please save other beverages and flavored tabs for home use. This makes sure that all children are hydrated appropriately and reduces the unpleasant effects of sugary drinks in our environment.
